Cinque Terre Boat Tour from Levanto

Levanto is one train stop from the boat — closer than most of the Cinque Terre itself.

If you are staying in Levanto, you are six minutes from the departure pier. Regional trains run between Levanto and Monterosso several times an hour through the day, and the station in Monterosso sits a short, flat walk from Molo dei Pescatori — the fishermen’s pier where Ghibli casts off.

Getting here

Take any regional train one stop south to Monterosso (6 minutes, a few euros). From the station, walk along the seafront towards the old town — Molo dei Pescatori is on your left before the tunnel, about five minutes on foot. Your skipper is one message away if anything is unclear.

Why sail from Monterosso

Monterosso is the only Cinque Terre village with a real working pier for small boats, and the only one a fishing boat like Ghibli can call home. Departing here means no crowded ferry queues — the boat is yours from the first minute, and the whole coastline from Monterosso to Portovenere opens up in one run.

Plan the morning

The 10:00 private tour suits Levanto guests well: a relaxed breakfast at home, the 09:30-ish train, and you are on the water by ten. The shared sunset sailing at 18:00 gets you back in time for the evening train home.
